Paulus S Obey Senior Pastor

Pastor Paulus is Christ Center Community Church first pastor. He is married to his wife Janel for 30+ years and they have 4 children, one went to be with the Lord. Pastor Paulus has a Master of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary Michigan and a Doctor Ministry (all but dissertation) from South University. Pastor Paulus is a retired Air Force Veteran.

Associate Pastor John Dockery

Pastor Doc as he is passionately called is a preaching pastor and member of the Elder Board. Pastor Doc is retired from the Army and is a High Junior ROTC teacher. He has a bachelor of Science is Biblical Studies from Rochester College.

Elder Daniel Greenwalt

Elder Dan is Sunday School teacher, Corporate Bible reader, Elder Board president and Finance Committee member. Elder Dan is Retired Army Officer and Marine Veteran. Elder Dan is also a retired government employee.

Deacon Kenneth Covington

Deacon Covington is Elder Board Member, finance Committee Member and Treasurer. Deacon Covington is Retired Army and Junior ROTC Instructor. 

Deacon Bob Porter

Deacon Bob, is member of the Elder Board and Finance Committee. Deacon Bob is Retired Army Officer and Federal Government employee.

Elder Clarence Horton

Elder Horton is Retired Navy and serves as Usher. Elder Horton is the most senior member of Christ Center Community Church.

Ministers Noel and Felicia Jewells

The Jewells are lay ministers serving in various capacities. Felicia is a Detroit Police Officer and Noel is a retire probation officer and works as truck driver.
